This website is a hub for ideas, tools, and resources to help individuals and families become better prepared for emergencies. Sponsored by the Pueblo Colorado Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Prepared in Faith supports community readiness across Pueblo and its surrounding areas, including Pueblo West, La Junta, Colorado City, Rye, Westcliffe, Cimarron, and Raton.
Everyone is invited to take part in building a more resilient and prepared community.
According to the 2024 FEMA survey, only 43% of Americans feel prepared for catastrophic events such as wildfires, tornadoes, or job loss. Preparing at home now allows us to care for ourselves and bless others during times when help is most needed.
Faith can provide strength and comfort during difficult times. Developing our relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ, allows us to maintain hope and bring light to others. Our faith can cast out fear.
Following a disaster, local churches, nonprofits, and government organizations are first responders and share the common goal of safety and recovery. Developing relationships now can improve cooperation and trust following an event.
The Emergency Preparedness Fair is July 26, 2025 at 11 a.m.!
